Education is the most important aspect on which the development of a nation depends on. It is education which helps in the nation building process. The more the people of a nation are educated, the more the nation tends to progress in the right direction. It is hence extremely important for the governments to give utmost stress on the various aspects of education. While imparting education another important point which should be kept in mind is the education meant for women.
It may seem to be unimaginable in this 21st century, but gender inequality still exists in many parts of the world. It is generally considered that the third world countries are generally biased. However one will be surprised to find that gender bias is prevalent in the developed nation as well. For the proper growth and development of a nation, it is imperative to come out of such issues and impart proper education to everyone. We need to treat men and women in the same manner.
The social and cultural outlook which we have been following for a long time needs to be changed for the better. In many countries a large segment of the female population are not able to complete the primary section. Though the government undertakes many schemes for the education of a girl child, it is hardly followed properly. Along with the government it is also our duty to look into the matter and do our bit to change the scenario.
Women have been showing their flair in almost every field be it in the field of engineering, medicine, astronomy, science and liberal arts to cite just a few. They are performing at par with the men and at times even better than them. Women are securing premier ranks in the civil services and holding topmost positions in the government. Their distinct vision has been helping countries to reach to the top.
